One customer gave feedback that when he used Yanhua ACDP2 to read a BMW CAS4/4+ module by ICP, all pin connections were normal, but an error message prompted “Decrypting Chip Failed!”.
ACDP2.EU engineer offered the solution below:
If this problem appears, the decryption progress bar will display a full 100% completion. In normal operation, the chip decryption process will not reach 100%.
At this stage, check if the C-GND probe on the interface board has been disconnected or removed.
Reinstall the interface board and try reading the data once more.
