In addition to new or used original factory MQB49 5C 5D keys, the tool now fully supports programming aftermarket Xhorse VVDI and KYDZ 5C/5D keys for MQB49 systems. What’s New?
The latest update introduces two major functional capabilities for third-party keys:
- Generate Dealer Keys via ICP Mode: You can now write directly to Xhorse VVDI and KYDZ universal keys on the bench using solder-free ICP adapters.
- Modify Key IDs: The software now permits direct ID modification for both Xhorse and KYDZ 5C/5D keys to ensure seamless alignment with the vehicle immobilizer.
Which Aftermarket Keys Work?
Not all aftermarket boards are identical. Here is exactly what you can use under the new update:
1.For MQB49 5C Systems:
You have excellent flexibility here. The software fully supports the following Xhorse VVDI smart keys:
- Standard NXP proximity keys
- XM38 series universal smart keys
- XM38 Toyota-specific keys
- XSMQB series VAG-style keys
2.For MQB49 5D Systems:
- VVDI BMW F/G-Chassis Smart Keys: These are fully compatible right now and serve as an excellent workaround for 5D systems.
- Dedicated Xhorse 5D-specific keys are supported for future release but are not yet commercially available.
Important Brand Restriction:
Please keep in mind that KEYDIY (KD) keys feature proprietary manufacturer encryption. Because of this lock, KD keys remain incompatible with Yanhua ACDP system and cannot be used for this procedure.
