Question:
I previously received an error stating “The device does not obtain authorization of A51D module” when attempting to clear an 8HP ISN with my Yanhua ACDP2. I now need to clear a 6HP ISN and already own Module 11. Must I purchase the A51D authorization separately for this job as well?

No, you do not need A51D authorization for 6HP. Just use ACDP2 with Yanhua Module 11 to perform the 6HP ISN refresh directly.
But the A51D authorization is specifically needed for BMW E-chassis 8HP operations.
