One customer reported that when he used Yanhua ACDP2 to read a BMW CAS3/3+ module by ICP, all pin connections were normal, but the device appeared the error messages “Memory decryption failed, please check if the memory model is correct?” and “Analyze the data error. Please check this CAS is a new CAS or blank CAS”.
ACDP2.EU engineer offered the solution below:
If this problem appears, the decryption progress bar will display a full 100% completion. In normal operation, the chip decryption process will not reach 100%.
At this stage, check if the C-GND probe on the interface board has been disconnected or removed.
Reinstall the interface board and try reading the data once more.
