This post will guide you to reset BMW G Chassis Gen3 8HP EWS using Yanhua Mini ACDP/ACDP2 with Module 40 on bench without soldering.

Note:
If you have Yanhua Module 11, Module 19, and Module 36, it’s only necessary to purchase the Module 40 license.
Operation guide:
1.Confirm ACDP device is bound to ACDP APP
2.Select BMW-> EGS-> 8HP Reset EWS (E/F/G Chassis, bench)-> 8HP_GEN3 (G Chassis, TC275/TC277)
3.Perform the steps one by one as follows
Step 1: Identify (CAN)
Step 2: Identify (BENCH)
Step 3: Reset EWS
Step 4: Verify EWS is reset
…
Step 1: Identify (CAN)
Identify the EWS status is Unclear
Step 2: Identify (BENCH)
Detect the chip model is TC277
Step 3: Reset EWS
Follow step 2 to select the corresponding TC277 option “8HP_GEN3 (TC277)”
Select “Reset EWS” and verify the system info
Read and save the chip data
Start to write chip data
Note: Do not cut power or disconnect the device while programming.
EWS data resetting is completed
Step 4: Verify EWS is reset
Select “Identify (CAN)” again to check the EWS status
If it displays “Cleared”, that means the EWS data have been reset by Yanhua Mini ACDP/Mini ACDP2 with Module 40 successfully.
