Customer problem:
I was having an issue with their CAS3 module. While performing a downgrade operation, the device froze and the process was interrupted. As a result, the CAS module can no longer display the VIN or configuration options, and all keys are completely non-functional. I was seeing a CAS recovery option specifically for ‘failed downgrades, but I cannot find this option on my tool’s interface. Can this CAS module be repaired (recovered) using Yanhua ACDP device? I currently do not have any backup data.
Solution:
Go into the menu path below and select the original software version to repair it.
IMMO Programming- BMW- CAS1 to 4- CAS3/CAS3+.
Select OBD Mode– IMMO Function.
Go to Special Function- Choose ISTAP original repair
Please note that this is an OBD recovery process and cannot be performed via ICP mode.
