Yanhua ACDP/ACDP2 with Module 38 License and BMW BCP Interface Board enable key cloning for BMW U chassis BCP encrypted/unencrypted keys (with and without UWB functionality) using the original key. While the programming process is easy, opening the BCP key shell is hard. Yanhua Tech has officially released a new Yanhua Btool BCP Key Cutting Kits to make this job easy without damaging the working key. Follow the method below to quickly and securely disassemble BCP key inner shell.
Step 1: Preparation and Fixture Setup
1.Prepare the Key: Use Yanhua ACDP Btool BCP Key Cutting Kits to begin disassembling the inner shell of the BCP key.
2.Open the Clip: Open the key clip on the fixture to prepare for insertion.
3.Position the Key: Align the key’s logo button with the inner column of the key clip.
4.Secure the Key: Place the key steadily into the tool. Align the limiting hole on the key with the limiting pin on the fixture.
5.Lock the Fixture: Close the clip tightly to secure the key in place.
6.Position for Rear Cut: Push the key clip (containing the key) into the key clip base plate. Tighten the nut to lock it in place.
Step 2: Cutting the Rear Side of the Shell
The tool is designed to expose only the ultrasonic welding area of the side frame plastic.
7.Initial Blade Insertion: Start cutting the key inner shell from the back side. Align the leftmost edge of the blade with the rightmost edge of the slot and insert it into the gap.
8.First Strike: Strike the blade with a hammer. Stop striking once the blade reaches the locking notch.
9.Angle for Weld Seam: Place the blade into the blade clamp. Tilt the blade to a 20° angle and align it with the weld seam.
10.Cut the Weld: Strike the upper right area of the blade with the hammer to cut along the weld seam.
Step 3: Precision Cutting with a Scalpel
11.Switch Tools: Once the cutting reaches the groove of the fixture, stop using the blade and switch to a scalpel to continue the operation.
12.Position the Scalpel: Hold the scalpel with the blade facing right. Insert the tip of the scalpel vertically into the groove.
13.Create Leverage: Move the scalpel horizontally so that the back of the blade is firmly against the left side bevel.
14.Penetrate the Shell: Strike the scalpel with the hammer until the blade penetrates through to the bottom of the shell.
Step 4: Cutting the Front of the Shell
15.Identify Key Areas: Pay attention to the prompts on the stickers. Note the three specific grooves that need to be cut.
Caution: Do not cut the groove indicated by the sticker.
16.Cut Front Sections: Cut these three indicated areas first. Tilt the blade to 20° , insert it into the gap, and strike to cut.
17.Progress Along Seam: When reaching the third area, remove the blade. Tilt the blade again, align it with the weld seam, and strike to continue cutting.
Step 5: Final Separation and PCB Removal
18.Remove Inner Shell: Once all weld points are cut, remove the key inner shell from the fixture.
19.Prepare Pry Tools: Take out the off-pin blade and insert it into the clip on the front cover.
20.Pry the Back Open: Insert the pry tool into the groove on the back of the key. Force the tool towards the side cover to pry this area completely open.
21.Separate the Front Seam: Use a pry knife. Embed it into the welding seam on the front. Apply force to the left and right in sequence to completely tear open the welding seam.
22.Extract the PCB: Remove the internal PCB board.
Result: The PCB board is undamaged.
