For key programming tasks involving BMW FEM/BDC immobilizer systems, Yanhua Mini ACDP/ACDP2 equipped with either an ACDP Module 2 or a dedicated Yanhua ACDP FEM BDC Bench Integrated Interface Board—delivers reliable performance. Before initiating programming, the FEM/BDC module must first be removed from the vehicle. Below is a step-by-step guide to ensure a fast and secure disassembly process.

Key Steps:
1. Locate the Module
The FEM/BDC unit is installed at the base of the front passenger-side A-pillar.
2. Document Fuse Layout
Once the module is taken out, use a smartphone to photograph the fuse arrangement for accurate reassembly later.
3. Remove the Fuse
Extract the fuse carefully using needle-nose pliers or an appropriate tool.
4. Apply Heat to Soften the Housing
If available, gently warm the edges of the FEM/BDC module with a hot air gun or blower until the material becomes pliable.
5. Separate the Module Casing
Using a plastic pry tool or professional opening instrument, carefully pry open the module starting from the softened edges.
6. Continuous Heating (If Necessary)
Should the edges not soften enough, continue applying heat during disassembly to aid the process.
7. Reassembly After Service
Once the FEM/BDC programming is complete, reassemble the module and refer to the previously saved photo to correctly reposition the fuse.
