Yanhua Mini ACDP/ACDP2 with Module 38 can do all keys lost for BMW G series BDC2 module. However, users should be aware of the following critical limitations and operational risks:
Risk warning:
- This method serves only as an emergency solution and may impact dealer-related services.
- It is not compatible with electric or hybrid vehicles equipped with BDC2.
- The procedure alters original immobilizer data; restoring factory settings requires both a new dealer key and the use of ACDP.
- Modifications are made to the EEPROM (not the ISN), and the BDC2, ECU, and TCU are reset—resulting in previously working dealer keys becoming invalid.
- Once the process is complete, the BDC2 becomes locked. Regaining dealer key functionality depends on ACDP-assisted recovery.
Important Notes:
After completing the procedure, ACDP will reject all existing dealer keys. Restoration of original key operation must be performed using ACDP device
Recovery Steps (if a dealer key is available):
- Read the key data stored in the BDC2.
- Extract the immobilizer data from the dealer key.
- Write the dealer key’s immobilizer data back to the BDC2.
- Program the dealer key inside the vehicle (ensure the ignition activates).
- Write the DME ISN to enable engine start.
- Clear any stored transmission-related data.
